3D antenna coils for RFID

14 July 2004

Neosid offers isotropic 3D coils, in all values required for Key-Less-Go applications in RFID. The components are also highly suited for applications such as anti-theft devices. The transponders have a three-dimensional arrangement of the coils and they replace the customary individual coils for the X-, Y- and Z-axes. The coils are designed in such a way that a high homogenous sensitivity is achieved on all three planes.
To support a fully automatic assembly, the antennas can be equipped with a pick-and-place dot surface (ASF) and a heat seal surface (HSF). The heat seal surface is located on the underside of the component and results in the component sticking to the PCB during reflow. The antennas can also be supplied with a sheathing or housing if required.
