Small surface mount audio transducer

The NFT-03A from Star Micronics is a miniature audio transducer intended for use in devices such as handheld electronics, computer peripherals, medical devices and appliances.

The device is rated for operation at 3 V and has a coil resistance of 17 Ω. Sound output at 10 cm is typically 80 dB at a rated frequency of 4 kHz over the operating temperature range from -30°C to +70°C. The device measures just 5 mm x 5 mm x 3 mm (L x W x H) and weighs 0,3 grams. It features a lead-free design and comes in a reflowable surface mount package.
