ZigBee modules

16 May 2012 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

California Eastern Laboratories (CEL) has developed the new MeshConnect EM357 Mini Modules, powered by Ember’s EM357 ZigBee chip.

Running the EmberZNet PRO ZigBee stack, the new modules enable monitoring and control in energy management, smart home, LED lighting and machine-to-machine applications. They feature the smallest footprint of all Ember-based modules available today.

Designs can benefit from reduced PCB real estate, enabling smaller form factors and lower costs while achieving higher performance. Low and high output powers (+8 dBm and +20 dBm) allow designers to choose radio performance that best suits their requirements. With a highly integrated front-end IC, the high-power modules provide a +123 dB link budget.
