High-temperature clock with LVDS output

29 January 2014 Analogue, Mixed Signal, LSI

Precision Devices has announced an extended temperature version of the LV7 series of clock oscillator products. The LV7 series is ideally suited for communication systems where low jitter is mandated by chipset suppliers and system level performance demands.

The LV7 series has been expanded to support temperatures of -55°C to +125°C (stability of ±50 parts per million) for harsh environments and space applications while offering stabilities as tight as ±25 ppm from -40°C to +85°C. The LVDS output offers integrated jitter of 0,3 ps typical across the carrier offset range of 12 kHz to 20 MHz.

The part is available in the industry standard 5 x 7 mm ceramic package for either 3,3 V or 2,5 V operating supply. Standard and custom frequencies to 200 MHz are available.
