OLED displays offer performance benefits

2 April 2014 Opto-Electronics

In order to highlight the advantages that OLED (organic light emitting diode) based displays can provide for a wide range of applications, iCORP Group has compiled a comparison of the performance characteristics of OLED versus three competing display technologies, as summarised in the accompanying table.

iCORP is the South African distributor of the Raystar range of OLED displays which epitomise this next-generation technology’s high brightness, high contrast ratio, wide view angle, fast response time, wide operating temperature range, low power consumption and thin panel depth.

One of the new entries in Raystar’s OLED range is the 2,8” RET025664A capable of displaying a 256 x 64 dot matrix with a pixel pitch of 0,27 mm. It is currently available in blue on a black background.
