Displays for in-store and PoS use

16 July 2014 Computer/Embedded Technology

Centurion Micro Electronics is promoting a range of low-cost screens for continuous display of slides or video for in-store and point-of sale (PoS) advertising and information display purposes.

The products are being targeted at everything from shop window to attract the attention of passersby, to museums, art galleries and other public displays where videos and slide shows can also provide information that will be listened to or read, in contrast to static posters and information cards which will often be ignored.

Available in screen sizes from 7” to 21”, the displays’ content can be loaded using USB data sticks or SD cards, and they can be controlled via remote control to prevent tampering by unauthorised persons.
