Harting products available from Hiconnex

Hiconnex Industrial has secured an agreement to distribute the Harting Technology Group’s products in South Africa.

According to Hiconnex Industrial CEO, Hitesh Pema, this serves to extend the company’s current product and service offering in the industrial market. “We are proud to be associated with such a respected brand as Harting, and the association further strengthens our position as a leading supplier of interconnect solutions in the South African market,” he commented on the agreement which is already in effect.

Harting is skilled in the fields of electrical, electronic and optical connection, transmission and networking, as well as in manufacturing, mechatronics and software creation. It develops customised solutions and products such as connectors for energy and data transmission in the fields of mechanical engineering, rail technology, wind energy plants, factory automation and telecommunications.

Harting also produces electromagnetic components for the automotive industry, and is a specialist in industrial applications in the form of enclosures, housings, cabling, assembly of individual or complete systems, as well as automated vending systems.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the cable and connector industry, Hiconnex operates from offices in Centurion, Gauteng. Hiconnex Industrial specialises in the general industrial, oil and gas, renewable energy, mining and rail industries. In addition to providing a complete range of products, it also offers complete turnkey solutions in harnessing and fibre-optic assembly, with a technical team providing engineering support.
