Weller has modified its popular WSD 81 soldering station for easier operation and a modern housing design. The result – WSD 81i – covers most soldering applications with a total power output of 95 Watts.
The previously required external input device has been made redundant since all applications are now combined in the new station. A temperature lock makes it possible to work to exact specifications. Tool identification is performed automatically after soldering tool replacement and no calibration is needed (IPC compliant).
Weller can supply a wide range of matching soldering irons and accessories for a total of nearly 1000 soldering iron and tip combinations. The station is manufactured to high quality standards, is energy efficient and offers an attractive price/performance ratio.
The WSD 81i is available in a soldering set with 65 W soldering iron, in a dry clean soldering set, or in a wet clean soldering set.
