Quad clock synthesiser

18 March 2015 Analogue, Mixed Signal, LSI

Exar’s XR81411 is a quad clock synthesiser with four independent PLLs in a 5 x 5 mm LGA-45 package. Each synthesiser generates any frequency in the range of 10 MHz to 800 MHz by utilising a highly flexible delta-sigma modulator and a wide VCO range. The outputs are independently configurable for single-ended LCVMOS or differential LVDS or LVPECL. The clock outputs have very low typical phase noise jitter of sub-0,6 ps RMS, while consuming extremely low power. The XR81411 uses a single reference and provides four independent outputs that can be configured as needed to support a wide variety of applications. The input stage, PLL stages and output stages are factory programmed to meet any number of application requirements.
