ConTech’s RQS series of railway DC-DC converters offers 75 Watts of fully regulated output power with nominal railway input voltages of 72 V d.c. (43 - 101 V) and 110 V d.c. (66 - 160 V).
Single outputs of 5, 12, 15 and 24 V d.c. are provided in the industry standard quarter brick package which can be ordered with an optional heatsink. The RQS series operates with efficiencies as high as 92%.
Features include remote on/off, output trim, over-temperature, overload and short circuit protection. The operating baseplate temperature range is -40°C to +105°C and the unit is encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound and uses a metal baseplate for improved thermal performance.
The RQS series is RoHS compliant, meets railway standards EN50155 and EN45545-2, as well as UL 60950-1 and EMC standard EN50121-3-2.
