The OX–204 is an ultra low-noise oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) designed by Vectron for applications that have a need for uncompromised phase noise performance in a 2,54 x 2,54 x 1,5 cm package. It achieves close-in phase noise performance of 140 dBc/Hz at 10 Hz offset with a phase noise floor below -175 dBc/Hz.

Ideal for applications such as radar, satellite communications, military communications, test and measurement, and DRO and synthesiser references, the device is offered in a 10 MHz standard version, but can also be supplied in other frequencies. It operates from a 5 V or 12 V supply while consuming 4 W during warm-up and 1,5 W in the steady state. Temperature stability is ±10 ppb at –20°C to 70°C and ±20 ppb at –40° to 85°C.
