The new Flip & Click board from MikroElektronika aims to bring the company’s huge range of 160+ ‘click’ accessory boards to the Arduino community.
Whilst Arduino shields are rarely stacked, Flip & Click allows for up to four click accessory boards to be simultaneously connected to the Arduino-compatible platform. This theoretically allows for over half-a-trillion possible different combinations of click boards, not counting the added possibility of connecting normal Arduino shields to the standard Arduino pinout on the other side of the platform.
The click accessory board range includes everything from GSM/GPRS to accelerometers to stepper-motor drivers. The Flip & Click boards feature the same AT91SAM3X8E as found on the Arduino Due, and is fully compatible with the popular Arduino IDE.
