From Vectron comes the VS–708, an ultra-low jitter voltage controlled SAW oscillator (VCSO) packaged in an industry standard 5,0 x 7,5 mm footprint.
It boasts a jitter performance of 55 fs rms over the offset bandwidth of 12 kHz to 20 MHz, with a frequency range of 600 MHz to 2,3 GHz.
Supplied with 3,3 V, the device offers LVDS, LVPECL or differential sine wave output, tri-state output enable and an absolute pull range of ±50 ppm. Recommended applications include high-speed data converters, optical transport (40G/ 100G/ 400G), wireless communication and cable modem termination systems (DOCSIS).
