Murata introduced the DMH supercapacitor series, with the industry’s lowest profile at 0,4 mm. It is designed for peak power assist, as required in wearable applications and various other devices.
The component’s 4,5 V rating is ideal for peak power assist with lithium-ion batteries, and it is well suited for use in limited space such as in various wearable devices, mobile electronics, smartcards, electronic paper devices and similar applications.
The DMH supercapacitor’s 35 mF, 300 mΩ large capacity and low ESR enable peak power assist in tens of milliseconds, with 1 A for example.
