DMM test kits for service, maintenance and installation

26 Jan 2000 Analogue, Mixed Signal, LSI

Pomona Electronics announced the availability of 28 new DMM test kits designed to simplify the testing process and provide greater end user safety and reliability. All accessories included in this new line of kits are designed for service, maintenance and installation environments, with ratings of 1000 V per IEC 1010-2-031, Category III. This assures the user of protection from transient voltage spikes of up to 6 kV. Pomona offers a broad range of test accessories for the latest IEC 1010-compliant DMMs, including Fluke's 20, 70 and 80 Series III, and Wavetek Wandel Goltermann, Amprobe, Hewlett-Packard and Tektronix multi- meters.

By offering test accessory kits specifically tailored to the industrial, maintenance and repair market, Pomona is adding yet another facet to its already extensive product line. These industrial-strength kits are available in addition to the electronic and electrical test accessory kits. Pomona's kits include the large, robust accessories such as Maxigrabbers and alligator test clips that are ideal for SMI customers.

The accessories in these industrial accessory kits have been designed with additional insulation protection for improved performance between the device and meter, as well as greater safety in the higher transient voltage environments industrial users often encounter. All kits include pouches for convenient storage.
