0,91” OLED display

19 April 2017 Opto-Electronics

The WEO012832F from Winstar is a small OLED display with 128 x 32 pixels in a diagonal size of 0,91”, making it suitable for a wearable device. Featuring a built-in SSD1306BZ controller IC, it supports I²C interface and has a 14-pin FPC cable connection. Also available is the WEO012832D module, which features the same controller but communicates via SPI interface over a 15-pin FPC. The standard emitting colours for the WEO012832F are white, sky blue and yellow.

The OLED display is built on a chip-on-glass (COG) structure, and its controller’s built-in voltage generation means only a single 3 V power supply is needed. Lightweight, low-power and small, this COG module is suitable for wall / meter devices, home applications, PoS systems, cloud/IoT systems, handheld instruments, intelligent technology devices, energy systems, automotive, communication systems, medical instruments, wearable devices, and others. It can operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C.
