RS signs Digilent agreement

RS Components has signed a global distribution agreement with Digilent, a world leader in academic and research technology solutions. The deal provides access to a wide range of popular FPGA and microcontroller development boards, JTAG programmers and a range of microcontroller peripheral application boards and portable instruments.

“This agreement with Digilent represents an excellent source of tools for embedded development, which complements the RS offer for over a million customers. It delivers on our ‘Digital FAE’ promise to our suppliers, to our DesignSpark community and to RS University customers, allowing them to comprehensively equip their design benches,” said Jon Boxall, head of semiconductors at RS. “It will enable our customers to simplify and accelerate their product development cycles and ease rapid prototyping.”
