Positronic’s SCBM connector series is a rugged, high-performance family of mixed-density D-sub connectors engineered for demanding environments. As part of the company’s established Combo-D range, the SCBM series allows signal, power, coaxial, high-voltage, and fibre-optic contacts to be integrated into a single connector solution.
Developed to satisfy strict aerospace and defence standards, these connectors provide strong mechanical reliability, high-current handling, and low-outgassing materials for mission-critical applications. The series uses fixed size 20 and size 8 contacts and is available with crimp, solder, and PCB termination options for cables and wires. Precision-machined shells improve durability and offer excellent resistance to shock and vibration in harsh operating conditions.
Power contacts in the SCBM range can carry currents of up to 70 A, making the series well suited to compact systems that require significant power capacity. The product line comprises 22 connector configurations,
from 2WK2 to 46W4, and is available in shell sizes 1 to 6.
