Unique teamwork provides the key Microchip success

Unique Memec and Arizona Microchip chose the 'City Ground', home of Nottingham Forest Football Club, to announce details of a strategic development of their existing distribution agreement, the terms of which extend the Unique Memec/Micropchip relationship into South Africa, Germany and Austria.

According to Glenn Jarrett, Unique Memec's European Product Manager for the Microchip line, the two new agreements are another milestone in the special relationship the two companies enjoy. "The German and Austrian agreements close a gaping hole in our pan-European Micropchip coverage and the South African deal is another major addition to our Global Microchip representation".

For his part, Rick Bosshardt, Director of Worldwide Distribution said that Microchip has come to recognise the value of Unique Memec's 'Solutions' approach to OEM application engineering.

Why at the ‘City Ground’ ?  It seems that Malcolm Cambell (back row, middle) European Distribution Manager with Microchip and Glen Jarrett, (front row, left) share a passion for Notts Forest, although the latter is restricted to following the team via the Internet from his home in Phoenix, Arizona.  But that does not explain why they borrowed the shirts ....
