TE Connectivity has introduced the RZ relay, the next generation of the successful RT series product line, that delivers excellent performance and now has CQC approval. CQC approval, in addition to existing UL recognition and VDE approval, enhances the relay’s suitability for applications around the world.
Single-pole RZ relays are available with normally-open or changeover contacts of either AgNi or AgSnO2. Standard versions are designed for 85°C ambient temperature, while high-temperature models may be used up to 105°C. DC coils are available for various voltages, and rated coil power is 400 mW. The product fulfils the glow wire test according to IEC60335-1 and is RoHS compliant. Primarily intended as a PC board relay, the RZ can also be mounted on DIN-rail sockets.
The RZ relay is suitable for a broad range of electronic applications such as energy management systems, household appliances, boiler control, timers and door control.
