Vectron has released a new high-temperature real-time clock/calendar module with built–in 32,768 kHz crystal oscillator. Capable of continuous operation from –20°C to 180°C, the HM-4201-RTCM1 comes in an 8-pin half-DIP package designed for high shock and vibration, making it suitable for applications such as oil /gas downhole tools, geophysical services, high-temperature industrial process control, extended temperature military/aerospace, avionics and engine control.
Timing, calendar and alarm functions can be set via I²C BUS. The entire HT RTC module is fully operational from 2,7 V to 3,6 V; the timing/calendar function is operational down to 1,8 V.
