Bourns announced the introduction of its new sulphur-resistant, AEC-Q200 compliant thick film chip resistor series. The new Model CRxxxxA-AS series is available in eight different footprints from small 0201 (0603 metric) to 2512 (6432 metric) and offers rated power from 0,05 to 1 Watt. The series has a wide resistance range from 1 Ω to 20 Ω and is designed for general-purpose applications.
These resistors are made using a thick film element printed onto a ceramic substrate, tested in accordance with ASTM B809-95 methods, and are designed to operate in certain harsh environments exposed to high levels of sulphur contamination.
