Since most of today’s electronic equipment relies on the need for high-precision, high-stability frequency and timing control, BC Components says it can provide it in one of the broadest, most innovative ranges of quartz crystals and oscillators.

Its latest product offering, supplied in surface-mount ceramic housings, is characterised by high levels of stability and includes subminiature quartz crystal and the lowest profile surface-mount oscillators in the industry. The company also has new hermetically-sealed VCTCXO (voltage-controlled, temperature-compensated crystal oscillator) which it claims offers stabilities down to 2,5 ppm. Its high stability and compact size (only 2 mm high) make it suitable for cellular phones, wireless modems, communications transceivers and GPS.

BC Components says its quartz crystals and oscillators offer the following benefits:
