EMC block filters

10 March 2004 Circuit & System Protection Security Services & Risk Management Retail (Industry)

Schurter's new line of block filters offers a complete range of 1-phase units with a wide range of current ratings: 5-30 A at 125/250 V a.c., 50-60 Hz. These filters are generally designed to perform in the low-pass frequency range of up to 300 MHz. Standard and medical versions are available with leakage current ratings ranging from 0,25-5 mA/<5-80 µA, according to equipment standards IEC 60950 for IT, and IEC 60601 for electro-medical devices.

The filter cases are the familiar block styles in square and rectangular shapes. They come with PCB, quick-connect and screw terminations. This universal filter family has been developed for industrial applications such as control systems, power supplies, frequency converters, UPS-systems, stepper motor drives, power converters and inverters.
