Win a Microchip PICDEM Lab II

10 August 2016 News

Microchip is giving Dataweek readers the chance to win a PICDEM Lab II development board (DM163046), a development and teaching platform for use with 8-bit PIC microcontrollers (MCUs).

A large prototyping breadboard enables users to easily experiment with different values and configurations of analog components for system optimisation. Several external connectors allow for user-customisable expansion, while a library of labs and application notes enrich the development experience. The board is also fully compatible with Microchip’s latest software development environment.

The platform supports all 8-bit PIC MCUs from 6 to 40 pins, and provides programming headers and power connections for all MCU sockets. It has three individual power supplies – 5 V, 3,3 V and variable (1,5 – 4,5 V) and features external connections for industry-standard communications and expansion interfaces, as well as RS-232 and Bluetooth Low Energy interfaces.
