The MID02W0303A from Monolithic Power Systems is a regulated, isolated DC/DC converter that can support between 3 V and 3,6 V of input voltage and up to 0,25 W of output power across a -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range, with excellent load and line regulation. It supports a 3 kV d.c. isolation voltage.
The device integrates a power MOSFET, transformer and feedback circuit in one chip, providing a compact solution with reliable operation compared to traditional isolated power modules. The MID02W0303A features short-circuit protection, over-current protection and over-temperature protection. It requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components and is available in a low-profile, wide-body SOICW-16 package.
