PLC2, on behalf of AMD, is offering a full-day online workshop on ‘Developing demanding applications with Versal Adaptive SoCs’. These sessions will introduce the Versal Adaptive SoC technology and the flexible computation engines provided by the respective device flavours.
To foster insight into the tool flow, general toolchain concepts with the Vitis Unified Development Platform will be walked through and the effective design approaches when targeting Versal devices will be explained. This is supported by a wide range of IP entries and available libraries that will be described in the context of system-level design integration.
A basic knowledge of embedded systems and/or FPGA technology is a requirement. The workshop will start with an introduction to Versal ACAP design flow. The next session will cover Versal Adaptive SoC design flow, and the workshop will end with Versal application acceleration with the Vitis tool.
