AI & ML
Ambiq Micro has received the EDN Product of the Year Award for its neuralSPOT AI software development kit (SDK) under the Development Kit category. The award recognises neuralSPOT’s real-world impact in simplifying AI development and accelerating deployment on power-constrained devices.
The recognition follows the release earlier this week of neuralSPOT v1.3.0, which provides expanded platform and product support, improved Windows compatibility, and increased deployment flexibility for embedded AI developers working with Ambiq’s latest Apollo330 Plus and Apollo510B systems-on-chip.
neuralSPOT is Ambiq’s open-source software development kit designed to streamline the entire edge AI workflow from prototyping and profiling to optimisation and production deployment. Developers can evaluate AI models using real-world sensor data and integrate optimised static libraries directly into production applications, reducing development cycles and deployment risk.
neuralSPOT v1.3.0 makes LiteRT (formerly Google’s TensorFlow Lite) optional within AutoDeploy, neuralSPOT’s built-in AI model profiling and deployment tool. This removes a Windows dependency limitation and enables AutoDeploy to run seamlessly in Windows-based development environments, increasing accessibility and flexibility for embedded AI developers.
