RE+ South Africa 2026: From strategy to execution

28 April 2026 News

South Africa’s commercial and industrial sector is navigating one of the most pressing operational challenges of the decade: escalating energy costs, volatile supply, and growing pressure to meet ESG and sustainability commitments. RE+ South Africa 2026, the inaugural edition of the conference, is designed to meet this challenge head-on. Taking place at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg from 02 to 04 June 2026, it will introduce a focused commercial and industrial energy event within a proven exhibition platform.

Co-located with Securex South Africa, A-OSH EXPO, Facilities Management Expo, and Firexpo, it forms part of five connected events that attract thousands of decision-makers responsible for energy, infrastructure, safety, and operations. The event’s theme, ‘From Strategy to Execution: Advancing Energy Solutions for the C&I; Sector’, reflects exactly where the market is right now: past the point of planning and firmly focused on getting projects done.

“Partnerships are critical in a market like this,” says Mark Anderson, portfolio director at Montgomery Group Africa. “They ensure that the conversations happening at RE+ South Africa are grounded in real industry needs, backed by credible insight, and focused on delivery.”

“RE+ South Africa is proud to announce that it has garnered the support of key industry bodies, including the Energy Council of South Africa, the South African Photovoltaic Industry Association (SAPVIA), and the South African Energy Storage Association (SAESSA). These partnerships ensure the conference programme reflects current market dynamics and delivers a programme, which meets the needs of the intended audience,” says Anderson.

RE+ South Africa runs alongside Securex South Africa, A-OSH EXPO, Facilities Management Expo, and Firexpo. This co-location creates a single destination where energy solutions are evaluated alongside safety and compliance systems, security infrastructure, facilities and asset management, and fire protection technologies.
