The SRDA05 Series TVS diode array from Littelfuse integrates low-capacitance steering diodes with an additional zener diode to protect telecommunications data lines against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and high surge events. Claiming 20% higher power and surge handling capability than competitive devices on the market, it has optimal clamping voltage for today’s sensitive chipsets, protecting them from catastrophic failure and maximising system reliability.

The array can safely absorb up to 30 A of lightning induced surge current (tp = 8/20 s) without performance degradation and can withstand a minimum of ±30 kV ESD in line with the IEC61000-4-2 international standard. With just 8 pF of capacitance from each I/O to ground, these devices help to maintain signal integrity, preventing data loss during transmission.
