Striking a balance between cost and performance, the XDS200 fits in the overall TI emulator portfolio between the entry-level XDS100 JTAG emulator and the XDS560v2 JTAG emulator with system trace receiver. It supports a USB connection to the host computer and works with 32- and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
The emulator grants developers direct access to the application program, memory and registers, and provides the ability to control device execution. It can be controlled through a software integrated development environment (IDE), such as TI’s Code Composer Studio, which can be utilised across TI’s entire embedded processing portfolio.
