LEDiL has introduced its new Veronica family as an innovative way of designing TIR optics, featuring a single moulded piece that triples as an optical element, structural holder and a sealing surface.
The product is well suited to challenging environments and outdoor applications, and is capable of ensuring an ingress protection rating of IPX8. Two lens types with real spot and oval beam patterns are already available, with more options planned for future release.
Veronica is available in two form factors: the round, slightly larger version is optimised for optical performance whereas the square Veronica-SQ has adhesive tape for easy installation and a slightly smaller footprint.
Typical applications include outdoor architectural lighting, facade lighting, and display and billboard lighting.
