Digital microscope interfaces to USB

29 January 2014 Test & Measurement

Duratool’s BW788 is a plug-and-play USB digital microscope with 25x to 100x zoom and real-time video recording capabilities.

It is suitable for use in micro-electronics inspection, printed circuit board and surface-mount technology quality control, education and experimentation, as well as medical and industrial tool inspection.

The image sensor provides resolution up to 2 megapixels at a focus range of up to 40 mm. The instrument features a built-in white LED light source with auto and manual brightness adjustment and is powered by the 5 V supply from a USB port.

The microscope interfaces via USB 2.0 to a computer running a Windows XP/Vista/7 operating system. It measures 33 x 112 mm and can be supplied with an adjustable stand to hold it and fix its position.
