For those applications where one needs to log temperature and humidity over a long period of time (eg, monitoring a generator or server room or logging environmental data while testing electronic products), K Measure exclusively distributes Mastech’s low-cost VA600-NH temperature and humidity data-logger.
The device has a built-in battery that is charged via the USB port, and provides enough memory and battery capacity to last three years when recording a measurement every hour. It has configurable alarms which can be used to start recording, as well as a 16 000 point memory, IP45 rating, magnetic mounting and easy-to-use software. The display can show real-time, minimum or maximum values.
The VA600-NH includes built-in temperature and humidity sensors, and can also accommodate external sensors for an expanded range. The internal temperature sensor has a range of -30°C to +60°C (±1°C), the internal humidity sensor has a range of 20% to 90% RH, and the external temperature sensor has a range of -200°C to +1000°C (±0,4%).
