Harwin announced the launch of a new range of PCB-mounted, dual-entry test sockets that accept a 2 mm pin. These low-profile parts measure only 5,16 mm above the board when mounted, and feature gold-plated contacts to ensure excellent electrical performance.
The sockets facilitate easy access and feature a flat upper surface to enable automated pick-and-place assembly. Both SMT and PTH devices are available: surface mount versions are supplied on tape and reel packaging for automated production or loose for prototyping; through-hole styles are available in three different colours to facilitate colour-coding of functions.
The components are rated at 5 A, 1500 V and have a contact resistance of 5 m and an operating temperature of -40°C to +105°C.
