PSUs for mounting on DIN-rail

6 August 2014 Power Electronics / Power Management

Phoenix Contact’s Uno Power family of DIN-rail mounted power supplies is now 15 members strong following the addition of 10 new models.

Offering output voltages of 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V and 48 V d.c., the product range exhibits energy efficiency as high as 90% which, together with no-load losses of under 0,3 Watts, represents one of its biggest draw cards. The units are housed in one of three enclosures measuring 90 x 84 mm (height x depth) and 22,5 mm, 35 mm or 55 mm in width, depending on their power rating.

Most Uno power supplies can supply loads up to 100 W from inputs between 85 and 264 V a.c.; higher voltages (up to 575 V a.c.) can be accommodated by the 2AC model which is available with a 90 W output at 24 V. They all carry UL certification and, with an extended mains buffering time of up to 140 ms under full load and mean time before failure exceeding 500 000 hours, they are highly reliable. Outdoor use is also possible thanks to a broad operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
