Low dropout regulator

Diodes Incorporated announced the introduction of a 300 mA low dropout (LDO) regulator in the miniature DFN1010-4 package. With a tiny 1 x 1 mm footprint and height of 0,4 mm, the AP7341 aids the design of high-density circuits in portable products.
The regulator’s high power supply ripple rejection ratio of 75 dB and low noise performance of 60 μVrms makes it particularly attractive in more noise-sensitive audio, video and RF communications applications. Its output accuracy is also high, maintained at 1,5% over the temperature range -40°C to +85°C. Output voltage is fixed at 0,1 V steps between 1,1 V and 3,3 V.
Operating over a wide 1,7 V to 5,25 V input voltage range, the device is able to support Li+ battery cells over their full battery charge and discharge cycle. At 35 μA, quiescent current is very low, helping to extend standby and operating times. In addition, an enable input allows the output to be turned off if required.
