Weller Tools and Elmotec have cooperated on the development of an advanced solder robot for mass production where high reliability and 24-hour productivity are required.
It is based on a modular concept that can be adapted to customers’ specific requirements.
With minimal dependence on the operator, the robot is able to load multiple boards for quick soldering of one soldering cycle at a time. Full control is given to the user on the amount of solder applied to the various soldering points through easy to use software with an adaptive programming interface. Data retention and storage are also possible.
Visibility is enhanced thanks to a clearly defined working area and on-screen visibility accessible on site or remotely, paving the way for real-time technical support to be more easily performed.
