Samtec recently released a new panel-mount, discrete-wire cable assembly as part of its Mini Mate product family. Ideal for in-line connections required to pass through a panel, the assembly accommodates a panel thickness of 0,84 mm to 2,28 mm.
The new assembly (MRTD/MRTDT series) features a 2,54 mm pitch, double-row terminal cable with up to 30 total positions and a choice of #20 to #30 AWG discrete wire in PVC or Teflon cable for use in high-temperature environments. The system is available as components (IPR1/T1M74 series) or as complete single- and double-ended assemblies with a 7,5 cm assembled length minimum. Double-ended assemblies feature a socket end for increased system flexibility.
The Mini Mate product line features individually shrouded contacts for reliability in harsh environments. This panel mount assembly is designed to mate with Samtec’s Mini Mate socket cable assemblies for a reliable solution in many rugged applications, including medical, vending, automation, office equipment, testing, networks, gaming, lighting and power supplies.
