EDAC’s cardEDGE+ range is available in 8000 standard styles and 435 000 custom variations. They are available in a multitude of variations, suitable for everything from space constrained power supplies, storage devices and navigational equipment, to industrial controls and medical equipment.

There is a choice of contact spacing from 1,27 through 5,08 mm and with 2 to 188 contacts in single, bridged and dual rows, with or without card guides. Operating temperatures range from -65°C to 105°C. Also possible is an insertion force of 4,45 N which ensures high contact reliability and connection retention with contact resistance as low as 10 mΩ.

Other options are extra row spacing, multiple PCB footprints, polarising options, extra mountings, additional high-temperature insulators, insulator dimensions, multiple insulator colours and extra contact plating to meet customer-specific design requirements for interconnect products. Specialised contact options are available and include PCB through-hole, wirewrap, solder eyelet, extender board tail.
