The range of electronic production equipment and consumables offered by MyKay Tronics will be represented by, amongst others, a soldering station, rework centre and ESD protective table mat.
The ST 70 from Pace is a single-channel soldering station that comes with the ThermoDrive soldering iron (TD-100). The system can also be purchased as a power source only and combined with any of four optional IntelliHeat hand pieces. The station’s heavy-duty metal housing makes it ideal for the harshest environments and the sloped face of the front panel is a standard feature for ease of use.
Also from Pace, The PRC 2000 Benchtop Factory is a complete rework centre capable of tackling just about any through-hole or SMT application, and is well suited for multilayer repairs on damaged or prototype PCBs. Featuring three simultaneously active SensaTemp hand piece channels, a built-in paste dispenser, MicroChine for removing conformal coatings or grinding away PCB laminate, and pulse heat technology, the PRC 2000 comes with nine hand pieces and continuously calibrates automatically.
The ESD table mat MyKay will be highlighting has a static dissipative top layer laminated to a conductive rubber bottom layer. It is designed to provide a safe work surface for static sensitive products, and can also be used on storage shelves. Made from a natural and synthetic rubber compound with conductive carbon, the mat features surface resistivity of 10 x 107 to 10 x 109 for the top layer, and 10 x 103 to 10 x 105 for the bottom layer.
