National Instruments will showcase a selection of its newest innovations, encompassing test and measurement instruments as well as design software. The following are a few of the highlights.
VirtualBench, an all-in-one instrument that integrates a mixed-signal oscilloscope, function generator, digital multimeter, programmable DC power supply and digital I/O. Users interact with this affordable platform through software applications that run on PCs or iPads.
Boasting brand new capabilities to meet modern challenges, LabVIEW 2014 is ideal for any measurement or control system, and the heart of the NI design platform. Integrating all the tools that engineers and scientists need to build a wide range of applications in dramatically less time, LabVIEW is a development environment for problem solving, accelerated productivity and continual innovation.
With the introduction of the NI vector signal transceivers (VST), National Instruments has brought the flexibility of user-programmable FPGAs to RF instrumentation. The instruments combine a vector signal analyser and vector signal generator with an FPGA for real-time signal processing and control.
CompactDAQ is a portable, rugged data acquisition platform that integrates connectivity and signal conditioning into modular I/O for directly interfacing to any sensor or signal. The breadth of bus, chassis and I/O conditioning options, combined with the customisable nature of LabVIEW software, provide a solution to the needs of medium channel-count applications.
