Powered by a 300 Watt composite heater and equipped with a heavy duty soldering iron that can melt bar solder, Hakko’s FX-801 soldering station provides a temperature range of 50°C to 500°C. An auto sleep/auto shutoff safety design activates when an iron is placed in the holder, automatically cooling the tip temperature or shutting off power when not in use for a certain period of time.
For operator comfort and workability, the station is compact and lightweight, with built-in handles making it easy to carry around and ESD construction for safety. Tip replacement is simple, with a preset mode and up to six settings that can be preset for adjustment via up/down buttons. A large LED display and password function are included, and settings can be locked to prevent unwanted changes.
