48 V point-of-load regulators

The PI3542, PI3543, PI3545 and PI3546 buck regulators have joined Vicor’s Picor Cool-Power ZVS point-of-load (PoL) portfolio, enabling 48 V direct to PoL regulation with efficiency above 96%. The 10 x 10 x 2,5 mm LGA system in package (SiP) modules deliver over 100 W of power and incorporate advanced features including constant current control for lighting and battery applications.

The devices operate from 36 V to 60 V input and regulate an output voltage ranging from 2,2 V to 14 V, with current delivery up to 10 A. Power delivery can be further increased using single-wire current sharing without any additional components.

The PI354x family is designed for a wide range of applications leveraging higher-voltage distribution, including telecom, network infrastructure, data centres, industrial, battery and lighting applications.
