DIN rail housing with terminal blocks

The CVB-Plus from CamdenBoss is a DIN rail mounting enclosure supplied complete with terminal blocks and featuring a clip-together design for fast assembly.

The 22,5 mm wide, vertical mount enclosure is moulded in green self-extinguishing UL94-V0 flame retardant PA66. With solid and vented versions available, it features front and side label recesses and is supplied with four 4-pole, 5 mm pitch pluggable terminal blocks, yielding 16 poles within the width of the enclosure.

Like many of CamdenBoss’s DIN rail enclosures, the CVB-Plus also features spring-loaded clips that can be snapped into position to make the housing chassis/surface mountable. This added flexibility makes it useful in numerous electrical and electronic applications including security, control products, energy management, embedded systems and HVAC.

The housing also incorporates two vertical PCB slots to ensure boards are held in place firmly and a development PCB is available as an option. CamdenBoss can also offer optional digital printing on the external faces of the housing. Specifications include 15 A, 300 V rated terminals with 20 m contact resistance, 500 m/500 V d.c. insulation resistance and the ability to withstand 2000 V a.c. for up to 1 minute. Pin headers are tin-plated brass.
