Power quality analyser

22 July 2015 Test & Measurement

The K6305 power quality analyser from Major Tech offers three-phase (four- or three-wire) or single-phase multifunction measurements for the recording and analysing of power systems.

Compliant with IEC61010-1 and CAT III 600V safety standards, its measurement features include true RMS voltage and current; active, apparent and reactive power and energy; power factor, frequency, demand measurement and current flowing on the neutral line.

This rugged meter can be used for various wiring systems and can measure up to three systems on a single-phase, two-wire circuit. It can be used for measurements of instantaneous, integrated or demand values, and has an automatic wiring check function to prevent incorrect connections. The meter checks the connections and displays the results on its LCD screen, while a wide selection of clamp sensors (automatically recognised by the meter) enables measurements from 0,1 A to 3000 A.

Measured data up to 2 GB can be saved on an SD card and/or the K6305’s internal memory, and can be transmitted to a PC via USB or Blue-tooth. Software available free on the Google Play Store allows Android devices to display measurements over the Bluetooth interface.

Standard accessories include a four-piece voltage test lead set, three 500 A CTs, USB cable, power cord, carry case, 2 GB SD card, Windows PC software, six batteries and user manual. Optional accessories include a selection of clamp sensors, a power supply adaptor and a carry case with magnet.
