Protection modules for computing equipment

The Duoline range from Clearline Protection Systems is designed to protect sensitive computing equipment against lightning and electrical surges without additional earthing. Employing multiple stages of protection and a resettable circuit breaker, the modules are capable of blocking severe surges and incor-porate line filtering circuitry.

Protection of 230 V a.c. (50 Hz) mains power, ADSL line (up to 10 Mbps) and network cable (gigabit Cat5e; power-over-Ethernet) are provided, and built-in thermal protection eliminates fire hazards. Compliant with IEC and IEEE standards, the units incorporate a fast overload device which will be activated in extreme conditions, while a functional indication light displays the earth and protection status of the unit.
