Consultants day hosted by Avnet

Avnet South Africa hosted electronics design consultants for a day of technical marketing presentations and networking opportunities at its offices in Woodmead, Johannesburg, at the end of October.

The company’s field applications engineers (FAEs) provided attendees with information on their respective product ranges, which cover the spectrum from passive, interconnect and electromechanical components, through analog, power and signal processing devices, to embedded modules and software.

More than merely relating product specifications, the knowledgeable presenters gave insights into the underlying technologies and applicable market sectors, as well as practical demonstrations.

Following the presentations, a spit braai and liquid refreshments provided the perfect excuse for visitors and hosts to network and while away the hours until the afternoon traffic rush subsided.
