XP Power announced the launch of its new mobile optimised website (www.xppower.com), specifically designed to improve interaction and the overall user experience. Site enhancements include additional product selector tools, a rapid datasheet finder and more comprehensive company information covering topics such as standards certification, conformance to environmental specifications and quality assurance details.
Application pages allow selection of products within specific industries (such as medical) and feature a dynamic refresh of displayed products according to, for example, selecting the desired mechanical package format. A new on-the-fly product selector tool increases the number of searchable parametric options as well as providing multiple high-resolution product images, 3D model download and social media interaction tools.
The recently launched XP Power blog provides hints and tips on the use of AC-DC and DC-DC power suppliers, technical information on power supply topologies, environmental and legislation updates in addition to application examples. The product section has been extended to include high-voltage power supplies following the recent completion of the EMCO acquisition.
Other improved site features include additional product categories, stock check, sample request, app download pages and an enhanced search capability. The site provides localised content in English, German, French, Italian and Chinese, with further languages to come later in the year.
