In order to meet the miniaturisation and energy saving demands for related end electronic products in the industrial and control market, Mean Well has unveiled the EPS-45S/65S power supply series. Achieving the same 45 W/ 65 W power ratings as the former EPS-45/65 series, these new open-frame units are reduced in size from 10,16 x 5,08 cm to 7,62 x 5,08 cm.
The new power supplies exhibit low no-load power consumption (<0,1 W) in a low-profile design (only 24 mm high, less than 1U) that is well suited for low-cost applications installed inside system cabinets without the need for power enclosures. Suitable applications include industrial electrical equipment, electromechanical instruments, factory automation systems, and other electronic devices which demand low no-load power consumption.
